Just a few suggestions for the Overlays that would be helpful:

- EVENTS: The ability to change the font size/color of the text, OR: to add a drop shadow so the font is more legible when shown over a graphic background.
- EVENTS: Hosting the sound file directly, so as to minimize/negate the lag between the event showing and the sound associated. (I personally have had no issue with the image, but the sound rarely, if ever, plays.)

- ALL: More customization in the way of an optional background, font choice, layout, etc., would go a long way.

Im curious why this bot is not utilizing the Dlive api for chat: https://docs.dlive.tv/api/.  Is there plans in the near future?

Some of the things im putting in the shop will deter the stream completely.  I've accounted for with it costing a bit however there are a few users who join a LOT. Ideally, I'd like to permit 1 buy per stream so if i could put a cooldown of like 8 hours per user for the !buy command that would be awesome!

I noticed an issue with the Twitch.Center quote system and apparently Botisimo IP got banned from their servers because of a user spamming it. He removed your IP from the blacklist for now, but there's nothing stopping someone from getting it auto added again. I asked what he does if someone with Nightbot spams, and he informed my Nightbot had their own spam protection, meaning Nightbot would never run into that situation to begin with. Can you add a similar spam prevention so I can continue to use the quote system through Botisimo. I don't want to have to use Nightbot just for that quote API.

For this specific issue, I would like botisimo to return a selection of pictures of hay bales every time someone says "hey" as a pun.

but if i set it to read anywhere in the message, it also registers words like THEY as HEY.

My Request

can we have a way to register only a word (such as HEY) or even exclude certain words (like THEY) - when the word specified is contained in another - while still allowing the response in global message content?

Note:

I have Idiot, More On, Moron, Oof, Pun, and more all returning a random selection of gifs, memes and one liners all called from the above words/phrases

"The short answer is no, it is not possible. In order to achieve this we would need to add another variable like "$(message)" so that you could check the entire message yourself using javascript."
